NDEDIC Mission

NDEDIC provides an interactive forum where dental industry stakeholders develop cost efficient business solutions and provide best practice guidance to promote and advance information exchange related to dental care.


To be the dental thought leader for information exchange, guidance, and standards.

NDEDIC Bylaws:


1. Directors:

The governing body is the Board of Directors, which has authority and is responsible for governance of NDEDIC. The Board establishes policy and monitors implementation of policy by NDEDIC Account Executive, under the direction of the Chair.

2. Composition of the Board:

The NDEDIC Board of Directors will consist of no less than seven (7), nor more than fourteen (14) elected Directors. The Board will make every effort to represent the membership diversity by seeking to have at a minimum: 3 payer representatives, three vendor/clearinghouse representatives and, one provider community representative. There may be up to seven (7) elected-at-large Directors.

3. Terms:

Elected Directors shall serve a term of two years with option to serve a third year. The Directors shall be elected in such manner that the terms of approximately one-third (1/3) of the whole Board shall expire annually.

Directors shall be limited to serving two consecutive elected terms (two years with option of third year per term) After serving two consecutive elected terms and a Board appointment, former Directors may be re-elected after a one-year absence.
